Metric Socket Cup Point Set Screws

(also called Hollow Point Grub Screws)

are fitted with a concave cup point, which allows them

to fit closely against a rounded surface

such as a motor shaft. 

Cup Point Set Screws are specially designed to hold components in place with pressure from the tip, rather than fastening against the threads.

Their unique cup point tip allows for the set screw to maintain the best possible clamping in comparison to the other available set screws on the market.

Cup point set screws have a considerably higher lifespan compared to alternative set screw types.
